NetherTek Switzerland LLC (NetherTek, “we" or "us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and website visitors (“you”). NetherTek has therefore developed this privacy policy to inform its website visitors and customers about its responsible and legally compliant approach to the handling of personal data. Non-personal Information

NetherTek uses cookies and log files to automatically record, analyze and store non-personal information about website visitors and App users. Non-personal data can include IP address, browser type, ISP, referring page, operating system, GPS positioning data and the date / time of the user’s website visit. NetherTek uses software from third-party providers to collect and analyze this information. This information is used to improve our services and enhance the user experience of NetherTek’s website visitors.

Personal Information

In order to offer high-quality communication, NetherTek collects information such as the name, organization, address, telephone number and email address of website visitors and GPS positioning data of App users, which is used for account opening, account use, as well as technical support and sales enquiries. The information collected is freely provided by the customer as part of this process or originates from third-party databases as part of the validation process. Regardless of its source, NetherTek classes all personal information as confidential information.

We may obtain information about you from other sources, including third parties from whom we have acquired access to particular information, and we may combine this data with information we already have about you.

Access and Updates to Personal Information

In general, a customer with access to the ECR Portal can check, delete and update personal information on the “Settings” page. Upon demand, NetherTek will inform you whether we have any of your personal information. You can also request your personal information or request corrections of your personal information by emailing privacy@nethertek.net or by writing to our listed address. Enquiries will be verified by NetherTek to its satisfaction for their authenticity.

NetherTek stores information about customers with an active customer account in accordance with current industry standards. A customer can request the deactivation of their account or request that they no longer receive any NetherTek services by emailing privacy@nethertek.net. NetherTek may retain certain customer information after receipt of a request to terminate services or to deactivate an account if this is necessary. This takes place within the framework of industry standards and legal provisions and to settle disputes arising from customer agreements.

Use of Information

Products and Services

NetherTek can use personal data to promote, sell and make available its products and services, send order confirmations, react to customer service enquiries and process your order. This includes the use of information for checking the identity of the customer or to contact the customer to enable the provision of support and the replacement and purchase of products and services.

E-Mails

NetherTek may send advertising emails (e.g., newsletters), to those who have provided their personal data and who have not unsubscribed from the NetherTek mailing list. These emails may contain beacons which feed back information about the email to NetherTek. This communication enables NetherTek to measure the effectiveness of its advertising and marketing campaigns. Recipients can choose not to receive advertising communication from NetherTek by following the instructions on how to unsubscribe included in each advertising email, or by emailing privacy@nethertek.net.

NetherTek also sends advisory emails containing recommendations and instructions. These emails mainly relate to collected information and are used to answer enquiries, provide support, validation services, upgrade information and security updates, in order to inform customers about the products and services they have ordered. Since advisory emails contain important information about the use and security of NetherTek’s products and services, customers cannot unsubscribe from them.

NetherTek may task third-party providers, with whom we have a confidentiality agreement, with sending advertising or advisory emails. However, NetherTek limits its partners to the sending of emails which relate to NetherTek’s website, brand or products (no spam). Any customer who receives an unsolicited email relating to NetherTek’s products and services should forward the entire message and headers to privacy@nethertek.net.

Transfer of Information to Third Parties

NetherTek will share your personal information with third parties exclusively through the methods explicitly described in this privacy policy.

NetherTek never sells personal information to third parties. We may share your data with third parties who provide services on our behalf in order to support our business activities. These companies are only entitled to use your personal data as is required for the provision of these services.
